Submit—a completed application with submission donation image via email with attached jpg, eps or tiff file (750 KB minimum or 5 MB maximum) or by mail, an 8”x10” photograph. Please include a brief artist biography. Incomplete applications will
Mediums—watercolor, oil, acrylic, colored pencil, pastels, fabric and photography. Other mediums must be approved by Nemours / Alfred I duPont Hospital for Children.
Subject matter—subjects that appeal to children of all ages and adults; colorful, uplifting themes; nature, animals, humor, people in action. No abstracts, clowns, cartoons/animation or food themes.
Size—Minimum image size for all mediums is 10” x 14”. Maximum image size for all mediums is 30” x 40”.
Healing Art Works reserves the right to withhold artwork not meeting these parameters or our quality expectations. Please use archival materials.
Jury Deadlines: Submissions accepted through June 30, 2016.
Your submission will be juried by Healing Art Works to meet the hospital’s parameters. It is then sent to the hospital for acceptance or decline. You will be
notified by letter upon the hospital’s response.

Members of the Healing Art Works Board will jury all artwork to ensure proper content and presentation of each piece. All mediums are welcome. An artist must submit a completed application for each piece to be considered, along with an 8" x 10" original photograph, jpg, eps, or tiff of each donation piece. Artists who donate are entitled to a tax deduction for materials and shipping costs as allowed under federal and state tax laws. Proper paperwork will be provided by Healing Art Works to each artist upon receipt of the piece.
Healing Art Works does not provide artists with assistance in seeking tax deductions or appraisal value of the donated artwork.
